AJINOMOTO (MALAYSIA) BERHAD ENVIRONMENT POLICY
PHILOSOPHY
Ajinomoto (Malaysia) Berhad, manufacturer of food seasonings and other food products regards the environmental matters as one of our priority issues and committed in protecting and improving the environment in all areas of the company’s operations, while preserving and enhancing the quality of life for employees, customer and neighbours.
POLICY
1. Be conscious of global environmental issues and formulate comprehensive
environmental plans to ensure compliance to all requirements of the related
environment laws, rules and regulation.
2. Setting and implementing company-wide environmental objectives and targets,
focusing to reduce environmental burden, prevention of pollution besides
addressing environmental significant impacts arose from our business activities.
3. Consistently embark on continuous improvement of environmental preservation
activities wherever technically and economically viable such as meeting the
current requirements of Environment Quality Act of Malaysia and Ajinomoto
Group Zero Emission.
4. Continuously implement programmes for resources and energy conservation,
besides adopting 3R concept (Reduce, Reuse and Recycle) in day to day operation.
5. Working towards enhancing the environmental awareness of employees,
through education, training and implementation of environmental preservation
activities.
