Orang Asli in Carey Island Reap the Benefits on AJINOMOTO Corporate Citizenship Day (2005)
In 2005, Ajinomoto (Malaysia) Berhad carried their public service to about 200 Orang Asli in Kampung Sungai Bumbun, Carey Island. During this programme, many social activities were conducted such as free health check, distribution of daily necessities, cash and bicycles donation to the poor families, coloring and origami session for the children, clown show and lunch with the villagers. The programme was aimed to improve the living standard of the villagers.
