¼ cup Butter
700 – 800 g Yellow onion, sliced
3 sprigs Fresh thyme
2 Bay leaves
1 tbsp Flour
2.5 litre Water
2 tbsp TUMIX® Chicken Stock
½ tsp AJI-SHIO® Flavoured Pepper
1. Heat butter, add in onion, thyme and bay leaves, cook over moderate heat until onion take on a golden brown.
2. Add flour and cook for one minute.
3. Stir in water, TUMIX® Chicken Stock Seasoning and AJI-SHIO® Flavoured Pepper, cook for 30 minutes and stirring occasionally. Season with salt.
4. Serve hot.
