Kuala Lumpur, 7 August – In conjunction with The 29th SEA Games and 9th ASEAN Para Games (Kuala Lumpur 2017), there were more than 350 runners and participants gathered at the final checkpoint of Ajinomoto (Malaysia) Berhad (AMB) during the Torch handover ceremony today. Managing Director of AMB, Ms Naoko Yamamoto received the torch and it was then handed over to the company’s Chairman, General Tan Sri (Dr.) Dato’ Paduka Mohamed Hashim Bin Mohd Ali (Rtd) to symbolically place it on the torch pillar.
Being a Platinum Sponsor of the Kuala Lumpur 2017, it gives Ajinomoto Co., Inc. (Ajinomoto Co.) opportunities to provide various supports through its subsidiaries in the ASEAN region based on a wealth of knowhow on nutritional support for athletes the company has accumulated in Japan.
Ajinomoto Co. has been actively supporting and involving in sports and athletes’ development programme through its speciality and advancement of amino acids science. This year, Ajinomoto Co. becomes the Platinum Sponsor of Kuala Lumpur 2017.
