Hearty Beans and Gingko Nuts Dessert

This nutritious high protein dessert is suitable for all age group. By using Pal Sweet® Low-Calorie Sweetener it can definitely brings the best taste out of the legumes without worrying much on the calories.

Ingredients:
90 g | Red beans |
60 g | Green beans |
70 g | Black-eyed beans |
70 g | Barley |
60 g | Split mung beans |
90 g | Gingko nuts |
3 – 4 | Pandan leaves, knotted |
2.7 litres | Water |
12 – 14 sachets | Pal Sweet® Low-Calorie Sweetener |

Soak red beans, green beans, black-eyed beans, barley and split mung beans separately overnight. Drain each bean well.

Bring water to a boil. Add in all the beans, barley and pandan leaves. Cook to a boil. Cover slightly and cook over medium low heat for 45 minutes.

Halfway through add gingko nuts. Continue to cook until all beans are tender.

Add in Pal Sweet® Low-Calorie Sweetener or if preferred, add adequate amount of Pal Sweet® Low-Calorie Sweetener to taste to each bowl served. Stir to mix then dish out to serve.
