Ajinomoto (Malaysia) Berhad Brings Unity Through Tastes that Unite at Festival Budaya Malaysia & Festival Permainan Malaysia 2025
KUALA LUMPUR, 30 SEPTEMBER 2025 – Ajinomoto (Malaysia) Berhad proudly celebrated Malaysia’s rich cultural vibrancy and culinary heritage with impactful participation at two major national events, the Festival Budaya Malaysia (FBM) 2025 from 12 to 16 September at Taman Tasik Titiwangsa, and the Festival Permainan Malaysia (FPM) 2025 from 27 to 29 September at Dataran Putrajya. Both festivals drew hundred of thousands of visitors, providing Ajinomoto (Malaysia) Berhad the perfect stage to showcase its innovative food solutions while championing unity through culture, cuisine, and wellness.

At FBM 2025, Ajinomoto (Malaysia) Berhad stole the spotlight with the much-anticipated Kenduri Kari Malaysia 68, a record-breaking curry feast that became the heartbeat of the festival. Featuring TUMIX® Chicken Stock as the hero ingredient, the grand Kenduri highlighted its authentic taste and practicality for large-scale cooking. Festival-goers also enjoyed delicious samplings of TUMIX®, SERI-AJI®, and refreshing Limeade from "AJINOMOTO" Lime Seasoning Powder, while many brought home the popular Merdeka Bundle Set and limited-edition Seribu Rasa Satu Cinta plates.

The Kenduri itself made history, uniting Malaysians around a 68-foot banquet serving 21 curry dishes free to over 2,000 guests. Prepared in 15 buffet pots across 7 tents by 7 top hotels and caterers, the event celebrated curry as the food that transcends backgrounds and brings Malaysians together. Organised in collaboration with RASA, the Kenduri not only showcased the versatility of TUMIX® but also created memorable moments of togetherness for families and communities.

The festive spirit was amplified with a hot air balloon, live performances by top Malaysian artists, and international cultural showcases. The presence of Prime Minister YAB Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim and other distinguished leaders elevated the occasion, cementing it as a proud milestone of the Road to Visit Malaysia 2026 campaign.
Just weeks later, at FPM 2025, Ajinomoto (Malaysia) Berhad continued its cultural and culinary journey with four exciting activation zones. The aminoVITAL® Booth engaged visitors with product sampling and promotions, while the aminoVITAL® Wall Climbing Challenge encouraged fitness and endurance among all ages. The Seribu Rasa Satu Cinta Booth delighted families with samplings of TUMIX®, SERI-AJI®, and "AJINOMOTO" Lime Seasoning Powder, plus fun activities like Spin & Win and Kira & Menang. Meanwhile, the Smart Salt Roving Truck drew large crowds with interactive games and engaging ways to learn about healthier cooking solutions.
A major highlight was the pre-launch of AJINOMOTO Lime Seasoning Powder, giving visitors a first taste of its unique flavour-enhancing qualities. This debut reaffirmed Ajinomoto (Malaysia) Berhad’s commitment to innovation and practical seasoning solutions for both households and food service providers.
Officiated by the Minister of Tourism, Arts and Culture, YB Dato’ Seri Tiong King Sing, the festival also featured traditional games, obstacle challenges, cultural showcases, and food celebrations, drawing families, youth, and international visitors alike.
Through FBM and FPM, Ajinomoto (Malaysia) Berhad not only increased brand visibility but also strengthened product relevance and deepened consumer engagement. From the record-breaking Kenduri Kari to the energetic wall climbing challenge and the innovative Smart Salt Truck, the company successfully connected with audiences by blending tradition with modern food solutions.
For Ajinomoto (Malaysia) Berhad, these festivals were more than platforms for promotion; they were opportunities to live out its purpose of “Eat Well, Live Well”. By celebrating Malaysia’s cultural diversity while promoting healthier, flavourful food choices, the company continues to inspire communities and shape a brighter future for food and wellness in Malaysia.
