Ajinomoto (Malaysia) Berhad Collaborates with National Athletes for the 33rd SEA Games in Thailand

KUALA LUMPUR, 29 NOVEMBER 2025 – Ajinomoto (Malaysia) Berhad has collaborated with eight national athletes in preparation for the 33rd Southeast Asian Games (SEA Games), which will be held in Thailand this December. A press conference was held today at the MRANTI Auditorium, Taman Teknologi Malaysia, Bukit Jalil, to announce this meaningful collaboration and to reaffirm Ajinomoto (Malaysia) Berhad’s commitment to advancing sports nutrition in Malaysia.
Ajinomoto Co., Inc., a well-being leader in Southeast Asia for over five decades, serves as the Gold Sponsor of the 33rd SEA Games and the 13th ASEAN Para Games in Thailand, two of the region’s largest multisport events. The company continues to lead “The ASEAN VICTORY PROJECT”, an initiative that supports elite athletes through specialised nutrition programmes and advancements in AminoScience while respecting local food cultures and promoting better health and nutrition across communities.

In Malaysia, the eight national athletes, Chen Tang Jie and Toh Ee Wei (badminton), Zaidatul Husniah Zulkifli (sprint), Wan Muhammad Fazri Bin Wan Zahari (800m), Queenie Ting Kung Ni (discus throw), Jonah Chang Anak Rigan (shot put), Ng Jing Xuan (javelin), and Sanjay Manimaran (10km), participated in the Winning Meals Kachimeshi® sports nutrition programme from October to December 2025. Throughout the programme, the athletes were provided with personalised, nutritionally balanced meal plans designed by professional sports nutritionists to support their individual training demands and optimise performance.
Their nutrition plans also incorporated aminoVITAL®, a formulation enriched with Branched Chain Amino Acids (BCAAs) which help enhance exercise performance, strengthen muscle endurance, reduce fatigue, and support faster recovery during intense training cycles. The Winning Meal Kachimeshi® programme continues to serve as a cornerstone of Ajinomoto Group’s efforts, providing nutritionally balanced and delicious meals designed to support athletes during intensive training and key competitions.

The SEA Games and ASEAN Para Games play a central role in uniting the region through sports while promoting healthy lifestyles, teamwork, and camaraderie among youth across ASEAN. Ajinomoto (Malaysia) Berhad’s involvement reflects this shared spirit of regional connection and empowerment. Ajinomoto (Malaysia) Berhad aspires for “The ASEAN VICTORY PROJECT” to empower national athletes in maximising their performance and achieving exceptional results at the 33rd SEA Games in Thailand in 2025.
