Ajinomoto (Malaysia) Berhad Encourages Wholesome Sahur with Seri-Aji®

KUALA LUMPUR, 20 March 2025 – Understanding the importance of Sahur for sustained energy during Ramadan, Ajinomoto (Malaysia) Berhad (AMB) introduces a simple and delicious way to prepare nutritious pre-dawn meals with Seri-Aji® products.

As part of this effort, AMB recently organised the “Sama-Sama BerSeri-Aji® PPR Event”, which received an enthusiastic response from the residents of PPR Seri Semarak and PPR Kerinchi. The initiative aims to encourage a wholesome start to the fasting day while fostering a sense of community through exciting activities and meaningful engagement.

Enhancing the initiative further, the “Sama-Sama BerSeri-Aji® PPR Event” welcomed over 300 residents with a variety of engaging activities. Attendees received exclusive gift bags and participated in food tasting sessions, a live cooking demonstration by Chef Nur Farihin, fun cooking activities, and a lucky draw. Meanwhile, children enjoyed interactive games and sand art.

Aside from this, AMB also distributed up to 15,000 gift sets to another 10 PPR communities to celebrate the festive season together.

 

At the same time, AMB announced the launch of the "Bersahur Bersama Seri-Aji®: Sahur Seribu Kebaikan" Buy & Win contest, featuring a total prize pool of RM20,000.

Through this initiative, Seri-Aji® is giving back to the community by donating RM1 to Tabung Amal for every Buy & Win contest entry. This effort not only supports those in need but also encourages Malaysians to enjoy a wholesome and hassle-free Sahur.

We are also collaborating with KOLs to share easy recipe ideas, where every video share contributes to the cause. Additionally, we are engaging communities through on-ground activities at PPR locations, MT roadshows, and TT roadshows to amplify the message.
