Ajinomoto (Malaysia) Berhad Unveiled Their "Innovating for a Tastier Future and a Healthier Planet" Initiative at MAHA 2024
Ajinomoto (Malaysia) Berhad (AMB) is delighted to announce its participation in MAHA Go Global 2024 from 11 to 22 September 2024 at MAEPS, Serdang. The event features the theme "Innovating for a Tastier Future and a Healthier Planet", reinforcing AMB's dedication to the philosophy of "Eat Well, Live Well." This initiative aims to share with the Malaysian community about the diverse identities of AMB.
More than a century ago, Ajinomoto Co., Inc. in Japan made an innovative discovery with the creation of AJI-NO-MOTO® Umami Seasoning. In 1961, AMB commenced its business operations, becoming one of the pioneering Japanese companies to establish a presence in Malaysia.
During the MAHA Go Global 2024 event, AMB is utilising this moment to share with Malaysians that we are not just the AJI-NO-MOTO® Umami Seasoning company; over the years, we have diversified into various businesses while maintaining a strong focus on sustainability. AMB operates as a solutions provider in B2B business which covers the industrial and food service sectors, and is committed to the sustainability of food and environment for the community.
Mr. Noritoshi Takayama, Deputy Director-General of Export Promotion and International Affairs of the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry, and Fisheries, paid a visit to the AMB booth during the exhibition period.
At our booth, we are unveiling an innovative approach to B2B solutions by showcasing our “Plant-based Snack” samples. Our solutions stand out for their ability to enhance quality and reduce costs, optimise food resources, and provide a healthier formulation to food manufacturers.
Additionally, AMB presents AJINOMOTO Gyoza, inviting everyone to experience the delightful flavours of frozen Gyoza, featuring the crispy and juicy essence of authentic Japanese-style gyoza, which is also Halal-certified by JAKIM. This product offers a convenient solution for ready-to-cook and eat meals, catering not only to consumers but also to Malaysia’s food service industry.
Furthermore, during the exhibition, participants are encouraged to follow and share AMB’s corporate Facebook and TikTok pages to redeem a “PLANT ME PENCIL,” promoting the initiative to plant our own food and support food sustainability efforts alongside AMB.
