Caramelised Onion Burger

No one will be able to resist these burgers topped with caramelised onion, when the sweetness of onion crash with the butter and AJI-SHIO® Flavoured Pepper and Black Pepper, you gotta try it yourself!

| Enough | Cooking oil |
| 4 pcs | Chicken/beef burger patty |
| 24 shakes | AJI-SHIO® Flavoured Pepper |
| 40 g | Margarine |
| 4 no | Burger bun, cut into 2 and spread margarine |
| Enough | Mayonnaise |
| 4 pcs | Lettuce (or shredded cabbage – optional) |
| 8 shakes | AJI-SHIO® Flavoured Black Pepper |
Ingredients: Caramelised Onion
| 100 g | Unsalted butter |
| 400 g | Yellow onion, sliced |
| 200 g | Red onion, sliced |
| 2 tsp | AJI-SHIO® Flavoured Black Pepper |
| 4 tsp | AJI-SHIO® Flavoured Pepper |

Method: Caramelised Onion

Melt butter in a pan, stir fry yellow onion and red onion until browned and wilted.

Season with AJI-SHIO® Flavoured Black Pepper and AJI-SHIO® Flavoured Pepper.

Divide 4 for 4 sets of burger.
Preparation Method:

Heat the cooking oil. Grill burger patty over medium heat until cooked through. Shake AJI-SHIO® Flavoured Pepper 3 times on both sides of patty during cooking. Keep aside.

Toast the bun until slightly brown both sides.

On bottom bun, pipe on mayonnaise, place lettuce, burger patty, caramelised onion, then pipe mayonnaise and top with 2 shakes of AJI-SHIO® Flavoured Black Pepper. Then place the top bun.

Keep the caramelized onions in airtight container and store in a refrigerator. The caramelised onion can last up to 5 days.
