Chicken Satay

Serving Suggestion: 4 – 5pax

INGREDIENT:
800 gm Chicken (Clean and cut into small pieces)
Sufficient Cooking Oil (for frying)
30 sticks Satay Stick
INGREDIENT (A):
1 tsp Coriander Seeds
1 tsp Aniseeds
1 tsp Cumin Seeds
1 tbsp Turmeric Powder
2 stalks Lemon Grass (pounded)
80 gm Brown Sugar
50 ml Cooking Oil
2 tbsp TUMIX® Chicken Stock Powder
1 tsp AJI-NO-MOTO® Umami Seasoning (Flavor Enhancer)
BLENDED INGREDIENT (B):
10 nos Shallots
1 nos Red Onion
4 nos Garlic
½ inch Ginger
50 ml Water
Method
  1. Marinate the chicken with ingredients A and B.
  2. Marinate the chicken for at least 30 minutes in the refrigerator.
  3. 3. Skewed the chicken with satay stick.
  4. 4. Heat up oil and fried the chicken in a frying pan.
  5. Serve with condiment like cucumber, red onion, and peanut sauce.
