Flavoured Indian Rice with Vegetables

Ingredients:
2 cup Basmati rice
3 tbsp Cooking oil
¼ tsp Coriander seed
¼ tsp Cumin seed
¼ tsp Mustard seed
1 tsp Ginger paste
1 tsp Garlic paste
5 Shallot, chopped
4 cups Water
1 tbsp SERI-AJI® Kampung Fried Rice
Ingredients A: diced
1 Red chilli
1 Green chilli
¼ cup Red capsicum
¼ cup Green capsicum
¼ cup Yellow capsicum
¼ cup Carrot
Method
  1. Wash rice and drain.
  2. Heat oil and saute coriander seed, cumin seed and mustard seed.
  3. Add in ginger paste, garlic paste and shallot. Saute for a while.
  4. Add in ingredients (A).
  5. Add rice, stir vigorously until rice is coated with oil before adding water. Add SERI-AJI® Kampung Fried Rice Mix and stir before covering.
  6. Cook on low heat until cooked.
