Hearty Beans and Gingko Nuts Dessert

Recipe Description

This nutritious high protein dessert is suitable for all age group. By using Pal Sweet® Low-Calorie Sweetener it can definitely brings the best taste out of the legumes without worrying much on the calories.

90 g Red beans
60 g Green beans
70 g Black-eyed beans
70 g Barley
60 g Split mung beans
90 g Gingko nuts
3 – 4 Pandan leaves, knotted
2.7 litres Water
12 – 14 sachets Pal Sweet® Low-Calorie Sweetener
1. Soak red beans, green beans, black-eyed beans, barley and split mung beans separately overnight. Drain each bean well.
2. Bring water to a boil. Add in all the beans, barley and pandan leaves. Cook to a boil. Cover slightly and cook over medium low heat for 45 minutes.
3. Halfway through add gingko nuts. Continue to cook until all beans are tender.
4. Add in Pal Sweet® Low-Calorie Sweetener or if preferred, add adequate amount of Pal Sweet® Low-Calorie Sweetener to taste to each bowl served. Stir to mix then dish out to serve.
