Mutton Masala

 

Serving suggestion: 4-6 pax

 

Ingredients:
4 tbsp Cooking oil
4 tbsp Ghee
1 kg Mutton
5 cups Water
2 tbsp Tomato puree
3 tbsp Yogurt
1 tsp AJI-NO-MOTO®
1 tsp Salt
Ingredients A: spices
2 stick Cinnamon
6 Cardamom
4 Clove
3 piece Bay leaves
15 Black peppercorn
Ingredients B: blended
2 Yellow onion
8 clove Garlic
1 inch Ginger
3 tbsp Garam masala
2 tbsp Chili powder
1 tsp Tumeric powder
Some Water
Method

1. Heat the cooking oil and ghee. Saute the ingredient (A) until fragrant.
2. Fry the blended ingredient (B) until oil saperated.
3. Add in mutton and mix well.
4. Add in water and tomato puree, mix well. Braise for a while.
5. Add the yogurt, season with AJI-NO-MOTO® and salt.
6. Braise for about 1 ½ hours or until the mutton is tender.
7. Ready to serve.
