The Steamed Fish with Enoki Mushroom Recipe is often served as part of a larger meal with rice and other side dishes. Enoki mushrooms are a type of mushroom that is long, thin, and have a delicate, slightly crunchy texture.
The Steamed Fish becomes even tastier when added with Enoki Mushrooms that provide an Umami flavour. Suitable to be served to all groups, especially the elderly and children. This recipe also uses less salt but is still delicious with the use of AJI-NO-MOTO®.

500 g | Fish fillet, sliced |
1 packet | Fresh enoki mushrooms |
2 tbsp | Garlic oil |
1 tsp | Sesame oil |
3 tbsp | Shredded ginger, deep fried till crispy |
1 stalk | Chinese celery, sliced |
1 stalk | Spring onion, sliced |
1 pc | Red chilli, sliced |
Ingredients A: marinade
1 | Egg white |
1 tsp | Tapioca flour |
1 tsp | Sesame oil |
Ingredients B: gravy
1 1/3 tsp | AJI-NO-MOTO® |
1/2 tsp | Salt |
1/4 tsp | Pepper powder |
100 ml | Water |

- Marinate fish fillet with ingredient (A) for 10 - 15 minutes.
- Arrange mushrooms in heatproof dish and arrange fish on top. Steam for 5 - 10 minutes.
- Heat the garlic oil and sesame oil, add in sauce ingredient (B), let it boil and pour onto steamed fish.
- Sprinkle on top with crispy ginger, Chinese celery, spring onion and chilies. Serve hot.

Tips: With the application of AJI-NO-MOTO®, it is able to reduce about 24% of sodium while maintaining the same deliciousness of the dish.
