Thai Style Steamed Fish in Fragrant Spicy Sauce

Ingredients
1 slice | Garoupa fish (2 cm thick, 200 – 250g) |
1 stalk | Lemon grass, smashed |
Seasoning (A):
A dash of | Salt |
A dash of | AJI-SHIO® Flavoured Pepper |
Spicy Sauce (B):
2 tbsp | Fish sauce |
2 tbsp | Asam jawa juice |
2 tbsp | Lime juice |
3 – 4 | Shallots, finely chopped |
1 tbsp | Lemon grass, finely chopped |
3 | Chilli padi, chopped |
1 tbsp | Coriander leaves and stalks, chopped |
1 – 2 sachets | Pal Sweet® Low-Calorie Sweetener |
Method
- Lightly season fish with seasoning (A). Place fish and lemon grass on a plate.
- Steam over high heat for 8 – 10 minutes or until cooked.
- Throw away excess water from the fish.
- Combine fragrant sauce (B) in a bowl. Pour sauce over the fish and serve immediately.
