As part of our commitment to upholding basic labour rights including freedom of association and collective bargaining, 233 employees are covered by collective bargaining agreements, safeguarding their rights and interests.
We actively promote awareness of Ajinomoto Group’s Human Rights Policy through onboarding programmes and regular employee briefings. There were zero substantiated complaints concerning human rights violations in the year under review.
Ajinomoto (Malaysia) Berhad ensures that our operations comply with local legislations, including Employment Act 1955, Trade Union Act 1959 and Industrial Relations Act of 1967, as well as Human Rights and Malaysian Labour Standards.
