Overview

 

In 1956, the Ajinomoto Group launched its research and development with a team of 100. With organizational growth, that team has also rapidly expanded. Today, approximately 1,700 researchers around the world—specialists in fields spanning food, fermentation, biotechnology, biology, chemistry, and engineering—are part of the Ajinomoto Group. More than 500 of our researchers hold doctoral degrees.
