Ajinomoto (M) Berhad Congratulates the Medallists under the ASEAN Victory Project® in the 31st SEA Games 2021

KUALA LUMPUR, 26th May 2022 – Ajinomoto (M) Berhad (AMB) would like to take the opportunity by extending a huge congratulation to the three national athletes under the collaboration of ASEAN Victory Project® for winning silver and bronze medals in the 31st SEA Games, Vietnam 2021.

The three athletes are Nauraj Singh Randhawa for winning silver medal in high jump, Queenie Ting Kung Ni for winning silver medal in discus throw, and Norliyana Kamaruddin for winning bronze medal in heptathlon.

Throughout the ‘Winning Meals’ Kachimeshi® sports nutrition program under the ASEAN Victory Project®, the three athletes were educated and served with a well-balanced diet to meet the training needs and targets in the preparation for the 31st SEA Games 2021. The diet was also incorporated with Ajinomoto’s aminoVITAL® amino acid jelly drink to support exercise performance, and muscle endurance and recovery.

AMB’s support in sports nutrition started in 2019 through the collaboration with the Ministry of Education Malaysia under “Sports Nutrition Awareness Project”, aimed to educate and increase awareness on the importance of sports nutrition among student athletes as part of the *ASV initiatives.

The project is currently ongoing and involves two national sports schools which are Bukit Jalil Sports School and Malaysia Pahang Sports School, and will be expanded to other sports schools in the future.

AMB hopes that this ‘Winning Meals’ Kachimeshi® program will be able to support and benefit Malaysians, especially our national athletes and the general public who are active in sports to instill the practice of ‘healthy eating, active living’.
