Stir-fried Sesame Prawns
Recipe Description
Fresh prawns and fragrant sesame are perfect combination for a finger-licking good taste. Add TUMIX® Anchovy Stock Seasoning, TUMIX® Chicken Stock Seasoning, and AJI-SHIO® Flavoured Pepper on your favourite seafood, prawns can taste even better now.
Ingredients
350 g | Prawns, shelled |
1 tbsp | Tapioca flour |
2 tbsp | Oil |
Seasonings A:
1 tbsp | Sesame oil |
1 tsp | Dark soy sauce |
1 tsp | Soft brown sugar |
1 tsp | TUMIX® Anchovy Stock Seasoning |
1 tsp | TUMIX® Chicken Stock Seasoning |
½ tsp | AJI-SHIO® Flavoured Pepper |
Ingredients B:
1 | Red chilli, seeded and diced |
1 stalk | Lemon grass, use white portion only, finely sliced and chopped |
3 - 4 thin slices | Ginger |
Garnish C:
1 tbsp | Toasted sesame seeds |
Method
- Pat dry shelled prawns with paper kitchen towels. Place into a bowl and add in (A). Toss to coat evenly. Sprinkle lightly with tapioca flour.
- Heat oil in a pan until hot. Add in prawns and stir-fry for 1 – 1 ½ minutes.
- Add in (B) and stir-fry well.
- Sprinkle over with garnishing (C).
