Stir-fried Sesame Prawns

Fresh prawns and fragrant sesame are perfect combination for a finger-licking good taste. Add TUMIX® Anchovy Stock Seasoning, TUMIX® Chicken Stock Seasoning, and AJI-SHIO® Flavoured Pepper on your favourite seafood, prawns can taste even better now.


350 g Prawns, shelled
1 tbsp Tapioca flour
2 tbsp Oil
Seasonings A:
1 tbsp Sesame oil
1 tsp Dark soy sauce
1 tsp Soft brown sugar
1 tsp TUMIX® Anchovy Stock Seasoning
1 tsp TUMIX® Chicken Stock Seasoning
½ tsp AJI-SHIO® Flavoured Pepper
Ingredients B:
1 Red chilli, seeded and diced
1 stalk Lemon grass, use white portion only, finely sliced and chopped
3 - 4 thin slices Ginger
Garnish C:
1 tbsp Toasted sesame seeds
  1. Pat dry shelled prawns with paper kitchen towels. Place into a bowl and add in (A). Toss to coat evenly. Sprinkle lightly with tapioca flour.
  2. Heat oil in a pan until hot. Add in prawns and stir-fry for 1 – 1 ½ minutes.
  3. Add in (B) and stir-fry well.
  4. Sprinkle over with garnishing (C).
