Prawn Singgang is a traditional Malay dish where the prawn is cooked with the tamarind soup. It gives a fresh and unique taste. There are other variants of this recipe where beef or fish is used instead. It is a quick, simple and healthy dish.

| 1 no | Holland onion, sliced |
| 2 pips | Garlic, sliced |
| 2 inches | Ginger, sliced |
| 1 stalk | Lemon grass, bruised |
| 3 cup | Water |
| 2 tsp | Turmeric powder |
| 6 pcs | Bird eyes chillies, bruised |
| 1 pc | Dried tamarind |
| 1/4 cup | Tamarind juice |
| 2 pcs | Kaffir lime leaves |
| 20 pcs | Medium size prawn |
| 1¾ tsp | AJI-NO-MOTO® |
| ¾ tsp | Salt |
| 1 strand | Turmeric leaf, sliced (garnishing) |

- Heat oil, sauté onion, garlic, ginger and lemon grass until fragrant.
- Add in water, turmeric powder, bird eyes chillies, dried tamarind, tamarind juice and kaffir lime leaves. Let boil for a while.
- Add in the prawn and season with AJI-NO-MOTO® and salt.
- Garnish with turmeric leaf, ready to serve.

With the application of AJI-NO-MOTO®, it is able to reduce about 18% of sodium while maintaining the same deliciousness of the dish.
